Meet Your Hosts

Natalie Noakes

Natalie is a highly experienced Pilates instructor with 9 years of certification through Elixir School of Pilates in Sydney Australia and Balanced Body in CA. She is passionate about the transformative power of Pilates, having personally experienced its benefits in regaining her pre-baby body, rehabilitating old injuries, and enhancing her pelvic floor and core strength. In addition to teaching Mat and Reformer Pilates, Natalie also specializes in Yoga, Pilates Blend fusion classes, Toddler Yogalates, and works as a Physical Therapy exercise specialist. With a global teaching experience that spans Sydney, Australia, Nicaragua, and now the valley from Glenwood through to Aspen, Natalie is dedicated to helping her clients become stronger and improve their bodies.

Abby Stern

As the co-founder of Beyul Retreat, Abby is dedicated to building community that is focused around environmental, social and interpersonal wellness. Tuning into the mind, body, and spirit, Abby's classes are a harmonious blend of dynamic movement and sirene stillness, designed to release tension, unlock vitality, and provide a full-body reset. With a decade of experience in retreat planning and event coordination and as a certified 500 RYT yoga and meditation instructor, Abby possesses the expertise to guide individuals on their journey to feeling embodied and balanced. Her approach to yoga goes beyond the physical realm, drawing from her training in the University of Santa Monica's Soul-Centered Living program, where she integrates the principles of spiritual psychology.


Nourishment during the Retreat

  • Friday night we will gather for a Pot Luck meal, bring a dish to share.

  • Saturday breakfast & lunch will be on your own.

  • Saturday dinner & Sunday breakfast provided by the Voracious Vegan.

  • Coffee and tea are provided 24/7

  • Beyul also has a Bodega onsite offering snacks and drinks, beer and wine.

Lisa, the culinary visionary behind "The Voracious Vegan," beckons you into a world of sumptuous vegan cuisine. Drawing inspiration from her cherished moments in her grandmother's traditional Italian kitchen, Lisa infuses her creations with a deep-rooted love for food. With a passion and honor for nourishing others, she has spent the last seven years as a co-founder and head chef on wilderness therapy river trips, bringing her gourmet vegan flair to the great outdoors. Motivated by a desire to combat heart disease, Lisa has embraced a vegan lifestyle throughout much of her adult years and holds a certification in plant-based cooking. As the proud owner of The Voracious Vegan, a plant-based catering company, Lisa continues to craft culinary experiences that redefine the boundaries of delectable and healthy vegan living.


What to Bring

  • A dish to share at the Friday Dinner potluck, Breakfast & Lunch for Saturday

  • Clothing for yoga & pilates, extra warm layers of clothing, snow boots, swimsuit, robe, slippers

  • Cross-country skis or snowshoes (a limited number of snowshoes are available to rent from Beyul, you can rent cross-country skis at Basalt Bike and Ski in Willits)
