Gathering at the Hearth: A Yoga and Meditation Retreat for Deep Winter

With Shawn Parell & Wendelin Scott

Join Shawn and Wendelin in the quiet embrace of winter for a long weekend retreat in the Rockies.

Our venue is a Beyul Retreat, a century-old guest ranch nestled in a secluded valley deep in the wilderness near Aspen, Colorado. Beyul is more than a retreat center—it is a hidden world of wild beauty and profound stillness. Tucked along the Frying Pan River and surrounded by snow-laden forests and towering peaks, Beyul invites you to rest in its quiet grandeur. With cozy cabins, wood-fired hot tubs, and crackling fireplaces, every corner is designed to nurture rest and renewal.

Steep in the deep rhythms of the season with daily yoga and meditation, delicious organic meals, and special invitations crafted to support your body and mind during this time of deep reset. And, for those who wish to bring a touch of winter adventure into the experience, world-class skiing at Snowmass is just an hour’s drive away.

Whether you seek the warmth of a quiet fire, the solace of a river’s edge, or a hot soak beneath the stars, Beyul offers a sanctuary for deep rest and contemplation.
