Join our team for 6 weeks this Fall from late August - early October for our wedding season! We have six weekends of weddings from August 30th- October 5th during our favorite time of year when the aspens turn and we live in a sea of color.
We are looking to hire one motivated, responsible, and adventurous bartender/ Front Of House (FOH) rockstar to contribute to the incredible culture here at Beyul Retreat and enjoy the stunning nature while they're at it! Bartending and serving experience required.
This position is for 3-4 days of work a week with plenty of time to enjoy the Colorado High Country mid week between events. Below are the exact dates we have available for work and this would be a mixture of bartending and front of house shifts.
Events:
August 30 - September 2nd
September 6th - 8th
September 12th - 15th
September 19h - 22nd
September 26th - 19th
October 3rd - 5th
Additionally there is the opportunity for more work during our Hidden Lands event if there is the desire to come out earlier. This is the first week of August. We would have additional work August 8 - 11 with a gap in work until August 30th.

Our 32-acre property is surrounded by White River National Forest, with trails leading straight into the wilderness. It’s an ideal basecamp for hiking, backpacking, biking, stand-up paddle boarding, & rock climbing! We have a sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, and complimentary yoga classes for staff to enjoy outside of busy hours and private events. We work hard and play hard as we truly enjoy having a lot of fun together after work!

Gathering together for a meal is one of our favorite past times at Beyul. As a server and bartender on our catering team, you are a key part of our food and beverage program. You will work with our f&b team to deliver meal and drinks throughout the fall season.
We are looking to hire 1 full time qualified applicant for this position.

Proficiency in preparing and serving a variety of beverages in a catering or event setting.
Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and drink presentation.
Ability to interact professionally with guests, providing excellent customer service.
Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations, ensuring responsible beverage service.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
Attention to detail in inventory management and maintaining bar cleanliness.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with event planners, catering staff, and clients.
Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS certification) preferred
Proven experience as a catering server or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and address their needs.
Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with the catering team, kitchen staff, and event organizers.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain composure during busy events.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices to ensure the health and well-being of guests.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with other front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
Neat and professional appearance with a positive attitude, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
Efficient multitasking abilities to handle various tasks simultaneously, such as taking orders, serving food, and managing guest requests.
Ability to adapt to different event settings and follow specific guidelines and protocols set by Beyul.
Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the event schedule.

2+ years of experience in the service industry.
Previous bartending, banquet serving and/or restaurant experience
Customer-focused and treat customers with respect and integrity.

Excellent communication skills for conversing with clients, guests and members of the Beyul team.

Drink Preparation: Skillfully prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, following recipes and customer preferences.
Bar Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and maintaining equipment to meet health and safety standards
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all legal regulations regarding the service of alcohol, including checking identification and preventing over-consumption, while promoting responsible drinking practices.
Greeting guests with a positive, friendly, and welcoming attitude
To demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude, and to lead by example
Setting up all tables and food service areas with chairs, linens and dishes
To ensure all FOH areas are clean and presentable and laid out correctly prior to shows or events

Assist kitchen staff with any prep work necessary
Washing dishes, cutlery, crockery, cast iron, and kitchen equipment while keeping the dish area clean, organized, and free of clutter.

Cleaning up and tearing down the dining area by removing all tableware, linens, garbage and furniture
Serving wine during events
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
