Artists with a Vision

We’re seeking artists to contribute to the Beyul Retreat vision of hidden layers that are revealed to those in a heighten state of awareness.
We are particularly interested in long-lasting outdoor sculptures, especially those made of natural materials, as well as interactive art pieces. The property has many large boulders (any stone carvers reading this?) and deadfall trees as potential sources for material. We also love “useful” art — perhaps your creations could serve as comfortable seating, beautiful privacy fences to shield propane tanks and hot tubs, or durable fire pits?
Beyul will provide provide artists with a lodging residency in a reciprocal exchange. (Approximate market value for a 7 day stay: $1400). We look forward to getting to know you and want you to enjoy your time on site, and hope you’ll plan for reasonable work days with time for relaxation and exploration as well.
Kitchenette provided; meals not included. Artists are responsible for their transportation to and from the Roaring Fork Valley; we can provide a ride to and from the town of Basalt or Aspen airport.
